The Kim Hung School in Granville, Edmonton provided Deane Roofing the opportunity to showcase our ability to install rain screen system as a feature to a low level fenestrated building. Single skin cladding sheets were installed to the rear functional elevations.
The Trespa High Pressure laminate (HPL) panels were ideal for the front architectural elevations allowing flexibility in panel layout and design. The flexibility was vital to allow panel sizing and interface with the positions of windows and glazing.
The importance of the setting out, is often overlooked as the elevation trades are often working independent of each other. Our experience with all types of envelope finishes and envelope solutions made us aware from every start of the reliance on the accuracy of setting out.
The panels were sensitive to directional layout and Deane Roofing procured the panels so that they were handled and sorted as they were intended to be installed on the building.
